The KETTLE PRT is a barbell, kettlebell, and bodyweight lifting Competition. It is a Physical Readiness Test for everyday athletes –– giving us a reason to train with intention, push for new goals, and stay motivated in our lives!
THE EVENTS.
EVENT 1 –– PULL UP AMRAP
EVENT 2 –– TGU 1RM
EVENT 3 –– SNATCH 3:30 AMRAP
EVENT 4 –– TAMERS & MAIDENS 1RM*
*Pick 2: Pistol, Pull up (weighted), 1A Press
EVENT 5 –– DEADLIFT 1RM
EVENT 6 –– KB COMPLEX 5:00 AMRAP
DBL Clean––Squat––Push Press––Renegade Row
TIE-BREAKER –– Max Overhead Lift
SCORING
One of the most unique aspects of the KETTLE PRT is our scorecard:
Everything lifted is scaled to the bodyweight of the lifter, rewarding pound for pound strength.
The smallest person in the room could win (and has)! Your truest competition is YOU. You set your pace and numbers during training – then push a little bit further on game day, harnessing the BIG energy of the room!

Sign-up individually and you will be connected with a team. If you have a full team, send teammate names to petersenkatie1@gmail.com.
TEAM PARTICIPATION
Events 1-5: Everyone on the team must participate (0 is an acceptable score)
Event 6: Only 3 teammates need to participate in the KB Complex. (Required to qualify for Individual PRT Champion)
ANYONE CAN COMPETE!
The competition is challenging but truly open to ALL LEVELS. For example, if any athlete cannot do pull ups, they simply take a zero for that event (only a fraction of the overall team score). This is very common and harnesses new training goals!
